Published on October 16, 2018 by La Nouvelle République, this article highlights the exhibition of sculptor Pierre-Jean Chabert at the Maison des Arts of Veigné, opposite the Atout Cœur space in the Grange Rouge park.
The artist unveils a stunning animal universe, featuring lions, rhinos, hippos, elephants, and wild bulls — each modeled with sharp observation and remarkable realism.
“His work reveals a mastery of drawing and form, capturing movement and life with precision.”
A former actor turned sculptor, Pierre-Jean Chabert trained in life modeling before dedicating himself to wildlife sculpture. His bronze pieces, cast at Rosini foundry, combine instinct, poetry, and technical excellence.
The exhibition, running until October 28, 2018, was praised by Danielle Carl (MACS association) and Nancy Texier(deputy mayor) during the opening.
“An artist worth discovering,” concluded La Nouvelle République.
